Tool Review: Beautiful.ai

Beautiful.ai is a fantastic tool for educators looking to develop their presentation skills in the classroom. The tool is akin to the likes of Google Slide and Microsoft PowerPoint with a few unique differences that are useful.   

You can either start a blank presentation on beautiful.ai or you can import an existing presentation that you have completed on PowerPoint. If you are using google slides, you can also export those presentations into PowerPoint, and then convert them into beautiful.ai slides. The site also has templates available for new presentations or allows for importing templates from PowerPoint. Collaboration on Beautiful.ai is easy and seamless by sending collaboration invites to others who are working on presentations with you.        

Additionally, Beautiful.ai allows you to record either a video or audio element to each slide right from your computer. This feature saves you time in recording instructional slides for your audience. Another feature is the ability to create smart slides for visual data representation. Some examples of what you can create are shown in the image below.  

The newest feature that exists on beautiful.ai is the ability to enlist the help of the AI to create presentations and slides for you. You can input a prompt of the type of slide you are looking for and the AI software creates the slide based on your parameters. Overall, this is a fantastic alternative to Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides and it is my personal favorite because of how friendly the UI/UX experience is.
