1. #highered or #higheredu
These are good hashtags to find some general information about higher education.
2. #onlineed or #onlineeducation
These hashtags tend to focus on what K-12 and higher education institutions are doing in online education.
3. #digitallearning or #onlinelearning
Many people use these hashtags to highlight discussions on educators and learner experiences.
4. #edtech
This hashtag focuses on how educators and learners are using technology.

There are a lot of great organizations which post about online learning in Higher Education. Here are a few that I currently enjoy following.
1. OLC @OLCToday
A great place to find research, seminars, conferences, and discussions for educators to share digital learning best practices.
2. EdTech Higher Ed @EdTech_HigherEd
A helpful magazine that highlights issues with technology facing higher education.
Individual Educators and Advocates
1. Karen Costa @karencosta
Karen posts many thought provoking tweets,and is a great connector for educators to resources, opportunities and each other.
2. Jeff Selingo @jeffselingo
Jeff posts a lot of great articles and video interviews on education. If you are looking for the lates data about what is happening in higher education, Jeff’s twitter feed is a good place to start.

Flower is a fantastic online educator advocate who sparks a lot of great discussion on how to implement effective online learning and teaching.
