Education is admirable and 2U aims to support the hard work that faculty do day in and day out, in a meaningful way. Faculty Relationship Managers support faculty in 2U Powered DGP, IGP and Essential based programs. 

Relationships are the heart of 2U.

Leading a virtual classroom may seem like a breeze from the outside looking in, but we know from experience, it’s not always as easy as it appears! Faculty must consider and plan not only the content they are going to teach, but how to utilize an online platform, how to create an engaging virtual presence, how to gauge students' success and interest, amongst many other concerns! 

The list of demands for faculty are endless and vary term by term and year after year. That’s why it’s important to 2U that we recognize the demands that our faculty feel and offer support to alleviate some of the burden. 

While teaching online can feel overwhelming, we aim to lessen the stress that faculty feel at the forefront of each term. Each partner university at 2U is provided a dedicated Faculty Relationship Manager. This Faculty Relationship Manager (or FRM) has a deep understanding of the programs that they support and begins to build relationships with faculty from onboarding to continued support through the life of each faculty member’s tenure within the program. 

You can think of your Faculty Relationship Manager as your “phone a friend” during times of need. From connecting you to training, to answering general questions around navigating the online platform, to helping you make tough decisions around updating content or changing an exams structure, your FRM is available to provide you with consultative feedback or connect you to the best internal resource available to support your needs.
